I wish to express my full support for the Summer RAMP (Recreational Access Management Plan) process that is taking place in Smithers over this winter for the Bulkley TSA. I have lived in the Hazelton and Smithers area for the last 46 years. There has always been a strong tradition of local community planning in our area. But there are always a minority who resent community planning, refuse to take part and refuse to contribute to the discussion. The same minority are ready to ignore recreation regulations and willing to vandalise recreation sites. I join the majority of local residents who believe in community planning , the rule of law and the value of the RAMP process to balance recreation opportunities in the Bulkley Valley.
