Dear Mr. Chair, After attending last nights meeting at the NWCC in Smithers I was left really questioning why the RAMP process even exists. Your committee does not represent all the stakeholders in the valley, in fact it seems to be comprised more of self interest groups. Also the RAMP process is not mandated so why are we even here? Does the government not impose enough regulations, restrictions and laws on us already? Recreation is for everybody to enjoy which I do from hiking to snowmobiling. If everybody would just respect everybody and not try to create motorized vs. non- motorized areas I think that we would be a lot better off. My kids haven't decided what they want to be yet let alone what activities they will be involved in as adults so why restrict them by decisions made by select groups. This valley is large enough and deverse enough that we can all share and get along while respecting each other and the environment. I appreciate your efforts on the committee but I truly feel that the RAMP process should be scrapped for the good of all valley residents and visitors. regards, Kelly Zacharias
